WE ARE LOOKING FOR ELECTRICIANS, WORK IN AUSTRIA
We are a contractual partner of an Austrian electricity distributor, which has taken over the project of replacing all electricity meters in the country. The project is called Smart Meter Roll Out.
We are looking for electricians to work independently in Austria.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Description of works: preparation of electrical cabinets for replacement of smart meters, replacement of meters with smart meters, sealing of meters. Use of the on-line application for changing and connecting a smart meter and for planning changes
Place of performance of works: field work, residential and industrial buildings in Austria
Time of execution of works: from 1.1.2020, expected several years.
Possible working hours: Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 19:00 and on Saturday from 07:00 to 12:00.
Required number of people: 10 – 50 independent electricians.
Required qualification and profile of people: electrical education or similar relevant education, completed medical examination, 16-hour First Aid course. Knowledge of German written and oral B2. Orderliness, communication, independence at work, responsibility
The contractor must have all work permits and insurance in Austria, and must comply with the rules and standards for calculating salaries. Employees must keep the documentation with them at all times and show it to the competent authorities or representatives of the contracting authority upon request. The work is suitable for Slovenian electricity companies or for sole proprietors.
Necessary equipment: small delivery car, electric hand tools, voltage meter and smartphone, protective work shoes, work clothes (polo shirt, jacket) provided by the client
Payment for services: monthly based on services provided and price list. 100 to 140 meters are replaced weekly.
We collect applications by e-mail. Attach the CV, proof of education and proof of completion of a 16-hour first aid course to the application. You can take the First Aid course in Slovenia or Austria. The first interview will take place in Maribor. Later, the selected candidate will take a course for live work in Graz. This is followed by training on the rules for changing meters and the use of the smartphone application. The employee then performs the work accompanied by an experienced employee of the client, which lasts 2 to 3 days, and then performs the work independently. The client takes care of route planning and exchanges, which is an integral part of the application. The client also takes care of informing customers before changing meters and arranges access to meters in the case of a multi-apartment building.
